Jollibee, the popular and fast-growing Filipino fast food chain, will open a new branch in Roseville on Friday, according to the company’s Instagram.

Currently, there is one Jolllibee location in the Sacramento region, at 6021 Mack Rd. in Parkway. The Instagram post lists the Roseville location as 1913 Douglas Blvd.
Jollibee calls itself “the largest and fastest growing Asian restaurant company in the world.” Its website shows 103 stores in North America and over 1,700 stores around the globe with “many more yet to come.”

The company had previously announced its plans to open a location in 2025 in Elk Grove at the Ridge shopping center at Elk Grove Boulevard and Ginther Road. However, plans appear to have stalled, and the company’s website does not list it as a location. Ownership of the Ridge was not available for comment.

The fast food chain is best known for its fried chicken, which it calls “Chickenjoy.” The company boasts a breading that makes it “crispylicious” and a proprietary marinade that makes the meat “juicylicious.” The chain also offers sweet-style spaghetti, burgers and fried peach mango pies made with Philippine mangoes.
Jollibee’s fried chicken has earned acclaim as the chain expands. Recently, it was ranked by USA Today readers as the top fried chicken in the country, beating out other popular options such as Chik-fil-A, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and KFC. It’s the third year the company has claimed that spot.
Jollibee opened its first US location in Daly City in 1998, and opened corporate headquarters in West Covina in 2019.
