The Rancho Cordova Police Department said a woman in the vehicle was on a searchable probation, according to a social media post from Wednesday, causing police to find a gun and several unused Narcan kits in the vehicle’s passenger compartment.
Narcan, also known as naloxone, is typically used to combat a potential overdose.

The woman told police she was staying at a local motel, the post stated. Police searched the motel room and found a large sum of cash, drug packaging equipment, multiple loaded semi-automatic handgun machines and a container of fentanyl, the Police Department said, resulting in two people being arrested and taken to the Sacramento County Main Jail.
