San Jose Sharks players will have a new corporate logo on their helmets for home games this season.

The Sharks announced Monday that they’ve signed a multi-year agreement with Aven, a Silicon Valley-based fintech company. Aven’s logo will debut on players’ helmets for home games starting with the Sharks’ season opener on Oct. 1 against the Florida Panthers.
Per the Sharks, Aven will be the team’s official home equity credit card partner through the 2028-29 season.
The Sharks formerly had their team logo on their helmets for home games. No changes are planned for the helmets the team wears on the road that feature the logo for SAP, the business software giant co-founded by team owner Hasso Plattner.

The partnership, per the team, also includes branding across SAP Center, Sharks Ice at San Jose, digital and broadcast channels, and Sharks Foundation community initiatives.
