Sophie Cunningham is loving America on the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
The Indiana Fever guard turned heads with a special Fourth of July photo, as it received more than 100,000 likes on social media.

Cunningham was photoshopped as Uncle Sam as she made her very famous finger pointing move, in honor of America’s 250th birthday on Saturday, July 4.
“As the United States celebrates its #250th birthday, we honor the generations who built this nation and the values of freedom, resilience, and opportunity that continue to inspire us. Here’s to celebrating our past, embracing our future, and wishing everyone a safe, joyful, and memorable Happy #4thofJuly!” the post read.

The WNBA star made it clear that she knows that everyone is posting the special photo and meme online these days.

“I think everyone around the world is posting it,” Cunningham told reporters Friday at practice when asked for her thoughts on the Trump administration using the meme. “Every company has done it. They’re just the one to also get on board, and so I didn’t really think twice about it. I think they’re just another group who is posting about it.”
Cunningham has defended her finger pointing, too.
“I was literally talking to the refs. … I was like, ‘Now, Caitlin got (a technical foul), but why didn’t (Bonner) get one?’ I was just pointing,” Cunningham said on her ‘Show Me’ podcast. “And she’s like, ‘Don’t you point at me!’ And I was like, ‘Aw, (you) shouldn’t have said that.’ And I didn’t say a word.”
Cunningham has since been playing into the attention, clearly loving that everyone is posting her meme all over the internet.
