Ashley Garibay, 23, was identified in social media posts by relatives and friends after authorities declined Sunday to release the names of those killed because not all families had been notified.

In-N-Out Burger President Lynsi Snyder confirmed in a statement that one of the restaurant’s associates was killed in the shooting. Garibay was an employee at the newly opened Twin Falls restaurant, according to the New York Post. According to the Associated Press, the restaurant had opened on July 24.

“We lost one of our beautiful associates tonight. She was taking care of our most important asset — our customers, and her life was taken by a disgusting human who doesn’t value the lives of others or his own,” she said. “He shot both on our property and off, and ended his life shortly after he took the precious lives of our associate and customers, innocent people who never saw it coming.”

Friends and loved ones took to social media Monday to remember Garibay.

Alissa Juarez wrote, “Oh my beautiful friend, my heart breaks seeing your pictures knowing they’ll just be memories now.”

Garibay’s mother, Sabrina Garibay, changed her Facebook profile picture to a photo of the two together. Another friend, Ricardo Rivera, said his “heart is so heavy” as he shared Snyder’s statement.

Twin Falls police said 24-year-old Chad Williams opened fire at the restaurant Saturday afternoon before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

At least seven others were wounded, the Idaho Statesman reported.

Authorities said they believe Williams acted alone and are still working to determine his motive. The FBI said it is conducting a “thorough investigation” and asked anyone with photos or video of the shooting to submit them through its tip website, the newspaper reported.
