Jannik Sinner is on top of the tennis world once again.
The world No. 1 took down No. 2 seed Alexander Zverev in the men’s singles final on Sunday afternoon. Sinner lost the first set in a tiebreaker. However, the Italian men’s tennis star was quickly able to respond, winning the next three sets, to take the championship.

Sinner was impressive, no doubt, though there are plenty of fans in the tennis world that like to root against him.
“Defence complete. Jannik Sinner defeats Alexander Zverev 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4 to win his second Wimbledon trophy,” Wimbledon announced.
Sinner, who has had a doping controversy, among other things, isn’t exactly beloved in the same way that Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal were when they were at the top of their respective games.
Tennis fans annoyed with Sinner’s victory Sunday
“What’s with Sinner and the repetitively childish shake of the fist after ever point? Some annoying behavior,” one wrote.
“Sinner is extremely annoying. First bumping, and staring at his team with his mouth open after every bloody point. Go away,” one fan added.

“Does Sinner have to celebrate every point lifting his fist and looking at his coach? Every single one?! So annoying,” one fan added.
“The Sinner fist pump and eye stare are behind annoying. He doesn’t do emotions so it comes off as serial killer,” one fan added.
“Sinner fist pumping his coaching staff every time he wins a point is annoying… who’s he trying to kid?” one fan added.
While Sinner is undoubtedly an elite men’s tennis player, it’s clear that not everyone in the tennis world is high on him, as we head into the rest of the tennis season, with the U.S. Open set for late next month.
