Amanda Anisimova is enjoying her time off before she prepares for the 2026 US Open next month.

Anisimova, the No. 9 ranked player on the WTA Tour, has struggled mightily since reaching the Australian Open quarterfinals earlier this season. She was upset by Diana Parry in the third round of the French Open, she fell short to Iva Jovic in the HSBC Championships, and she lost a three-set thriller to Madison Keys in the third round at Wimbledon.
A year ago, Anisimova was coming off an improbable run to the Wimbledon final. As you’d imagine, she’s really frustrated with her recent performances.
“It’s been really, really tough,” Anisimova said. ”I feel like I’m doing everything I can and working really hard. So for my game to still be at this point, it’s really hard to digest and take.”
Anisimova continued, “When I’m not able to make one forehand in the court, it’s really, really hard. So, I don’t know. I need to go home and take some time and figure out how I can fix this.”

Judging by her Instagram activity, Anisimova is taking a much-needed break from the action this week.
Anisimova posted a few swimsuit photos on social media that legitimately left some of her fans speechless.
“Slayed both on and off court,” one fan commented.
“Amanda Anisimova, for the love of God,” a second fan wrote.
Anisimova is hoping this brief vacation will help her refocus for the hard court swing in America.
Fans are hoping to see Anisimova back up last year’s run to the US Open final. She’ll need to rediscover her forehand if she’s going to make a serious bid at winning the final Grand Slam tournament of the season.
