With a whole crop of newcomers soon set to enter the Octagon, here are my top five prospects from the 10th iteration of DWCS.

Akbar Abduallaev

The prospect from Season 10 of DWCS with the highest ceiling is undoubtedly Akbar Abdullaev, a 29-year-old Kyrgyz native who is 14-0 in his pro MMA career.

Abdullaev earned a UFC contract with a 19-second KO win over Ednilson Santos, the 13th knockout win in his MMA career.

The lightweight fighter, who previously fought in Asia for ONE Championship, is the most UFC-ready talent out of any fighter on the show this season.

He has not been booked for his UFC debut yet, but I expect the promotion to give him someone decent to test his skills in his first fight inside the Octagon.

Given how deep the UFC lightweight division is, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Abdullaev get fast-tracked up the roster in short order.

He really is that good, and I expect him to have a great career inside the Octagon.

Bilal Hasan

Another incredible talent from Season 10 of DWCS is Bilal Hasan, the undefeated, 25-year-old Indonesian who earned a UFC contract after knocking out Mridul Saikia in just 45 seconds on DWCS.

Hasan is 10-0, 1 NC in his MMA career with nine wins by stoppage.

That includes a brutal KO win over Nilson Rojas in his UFC debut, as he fought in the Octagon just over two weeks after he earned a UFC contract after his big win on DWCS.

Next up, Hasan has his second UFC fight booked when he goes up against Luis Gurule at UFC 334 in November, getting the opportunity to open up the main card on Paramount+ at Madison Square Garden in New York City, showing just how much the UFC matchmakers believe in his talent.

Hasan is going to have a great career in the UFC, and I would not be surprised at all if he won the UFC flyweight title one day, as he really is that talented.

Anthony Wint

A former New York Jets linebacker, heavyweight Anthony Wint has all the athletic tools to make a run for the top-15 rankings in the UFC within the next 12 months.

I love what I’ve seen from Wint, who is 9-0 in his MMA career with eight stoppage wins.

The 31-year-old American won a UFC contract with a 34-second TKO win over Matt Adams.

The promotion turned him around 11 days later, and he won his UFC debut by submission over Terrance Chatman at UFC Sacramento.

Then, just over a month later, Wint won his second UFC fight when he knocked out Lucas Armand in 23 seconds at UFC 332.

He is an impressive specimen in the UFC heavyweight division, and although it’s far too soon to talk about him as a potential world champion, Wint certainly has all the athletic gifts to do really well in MMA now that his pro football career is over.

Christian Natividad

One prospect that really surprised me this season was Christian Natividad, a flyweight prospect who fought Colton Loud on short notice on DWCS.

Despite having less preparation than his opponent, Natividad went into the Octagon and earned a UFC contract with a brutal KO win when he knocked Loud out with a punch to the body.

I love when fighters go to the body, and so Natividad was someone who really stood out to me.

The younger brother of former UFC fighter Kevin Natividad, this 29-year-old Hawaiian native is 10-0 in his MMA career with four knockouts.

I expect him to have a long and successful UFC career and to break into the top-15 rankings in the next year or two in the stacked flyweight division.

Aieza Bertolso

There were not many women’s MMA fights on Season 10 of DWCS, but the one that stood out the most to me was Aieza Bertolso.

The 25-year-old Brazilian is 8-0 in her MMA career with six wins by stoppage.

In her DWCS appearance, Bertolso submitted Camila Reynoso with a first-round submission to earn a UFC contract.

She has yet to be booked for her first fight inside the Octagon, but I expect her to get a fight before the end of 2026 or in the first quarter of 2027.

A former LFA women’s strawweight champion, Bertolso is one of the biggest fighters in her weight class at 5’7″, and I think she can bully the opposition in the UFC and become something special, as I think she can be a top-15 ranked fighter by as early as next year.
