After missing the previous match against Manchester City over the weekend in the Premier League, Dominik Szoboszlai remains unavailable to play for Liverpool today against LASK.
Szoboszlai missed the previous match against Manchester City after suffering a hamstring injury. Szoboszlai trained with the Liverpool team ahead of the Manchester City game but would feel a ‘tight’ hamstring.
Andoni Iraola, Liverpool manager, confirmed that Szoboszlai’s injury came from the international break while playing for Hungary.
Iraola said, “Another one coming from the international games. He came with an overload; he felt a tight hamstring. He’s tried somehow, kind of pushing through training, but he was not feeling 100 per cent, and we will have to wait for Dom, yes.”

Is Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai Still Injured?
Dominik Szoboszlai is still injured and will not be playing today for Liverpool against LASK. Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo are injured as well and will not play for Liverpool today.
Iraola states that all three players are expected to be back soon, but he does not know whether they will return against Brentford in the Premier League this Saturday or next week in the Champions League against Villarreal.
Iraola said, “They are not far, but it is difficult to tell you right now [when they will return until] any of the three have trained with the group. We are taking it day to day. But I don’t know if it’s going to be Brentford or Villarreal.”
Szoboszlai is with the team in Austria to support his teammates against LASK but is not on the squad list.
