Lviv Croissants, 5343 Sunrise Blvd., is in the Quail Pointe Shopping Center. The international franchise is popular for its hearty croissant sandwiches.

Lviv Croissants opened this summer and sells a variety of croissant sandwiches and salads for breakfast and lunch. It also serves a variety of coffees and sweet iced drinks, according to its menu.

The restaurant’s most popular offerings include a pastrami croissant, chicken teriyaki croissant, strawberry banana Nutella croissant, and a classic Lviv sandwich, which has salami, boiled egg, tomatoes, cucumbers, and garlic mayonnaise.

Founder and chief executive officer Andrii Halytskyi started the first Lviv Croissants in Ukraine in 2015, according to its website. The origin of Lviv Croissants began by accident, according to its backstory. While making croissants, Halytskyi accidentally made the flaky pastry much larger than anticipated. Lviv Croissants has more than 200 stores worldwide, with most locations in Europe. The chain began to expand globally in 2022. In its mission statement, Lviv Croissants stated it seeks to offer a fresher, healthier fast-food choice.

“Lviv Croissants stands apart from the conventional fast-food stores you may be accustomed to,” Halytskyi wrote online. “Our distinctive approach combines a welcoming European ambiance, expertly crafted freshly-baked croissants, and a commitment to offering healthy food choices…”

Lviv Croissants is tucked between Yogurtland and Len’s Crafters in the same plaza as Trader Joe’s. It is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., Mondays to Fridays and from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
