Ferrell, who is set to star in a new golf show, was featured alongside his co-stars, Luke Wilson and Jimmy Tatro, at the start of the Home Run Derby, airing for the first time on Netflix on Monday night.
“Are you guys ready to watch some balls go very far into the air?” said Ferrell, who was dressed as his golf show character.
MLB fans, though, were pretty annoyed by Ferrell and his behavior. Ferrell is one of the most iconic comedy figures in movies history. However, his jokes don’t seem to be landing as much in 2026.
Fans sounded off on Ferrell’s behavior during the Home Run Derby.
