Final Injury Report for Sky-Valkyries: Will Janelle Salaun, Sydney Taylor Play?

Golden State enters Wednesday’s game with a 23-9 record after defeating the Los Angeles Sparks on the road Sunday night.

In Sunday’s victory over the Sparks, Cecelia Zandalasini led the way for the Valkyries as she recorded 15 points and seven rebounds while Tiffany Hayes added 14 points and three rebounds of her own off the bench.

The Valkyries will try to grab another victory and extend their winning streak to five games Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Sky team at home.

Chicago enters Wednesday’s contest with a 12-21 record after losing on the road to the Seattle Storm Monday night.

DiJonai Carrington led the way for the Sky in Monday’s loss as she ended the game with 26 points, six rebounds and five steals off the bench while Kamilla Cardoso recorded 15 points and 13 rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Sky Injury Report: Will Sydney Taylor, Skylar Diggins Play?

The Sky have three players listed on their injury report, including Sydney Taylor and Skylar Diggins.

Chicago has ruled out Taylor due to a left groin injury as she will miss her fourth consecutive contest.

The Sky have also ruled out Diggins as she continues to recover from a right knee injury that has sidelined her since July 7 while Rickea Jackson will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.

Valkyries Injury Report: Will Janelle Salaun, Kiah Stokes Play?

The Valkyries have three players listed on their injury report, including Janelle Salaun and Kiah Stokes.

Golden State has listed Salaun as questionable due to right knee soreness and she is in danger of missing her first game of the season.

The Valkyries have ruled out Stokes due to a concussion that she suffered in Sunday’s victory as she will miss her first game of the season while Iliana Rupert will miss the remainder of the season due to her pregnancy.

Fans can catch Wednesday night’s matchup between the Sky and Valkyries from the Chase Center at 10:00 p.m. ET on USA Network.
