A man was arrested after Sacramento police said he made violent online threats against a church and officers found materials associated with making explosives in his home.

The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office planned to charge Lo Orn Saeturn, 35, with making criminal threats, DA spokesperson Shelly Orio said before his scheduled arraignment Wednesday afternoon.
Saeturn was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on Monday, according to jail records, after Sacramento police officers searched his home. He was also served with a gun violence restraining order.
Sacramento police officers found ammunition, multiple guns, including a shotgun, and materials that could be associated with making bombs during the search earlier this week, according to a department statement. Authorities served the search warrant after identifying Saeturn as a suspect in an investigation into violent online threats against a church, though police did not identify the place of worship.

Officers also found electronic devices and written materials, which were not detailed in the news release.
The ongoing investigation involved the department’s Criminal Intelligence Unit and Explosive Ordnance Detail, police said.
