Je’Von Evans provided one of the wildest visuals of WWE Money in the Bank when his night ended with him going through an ambulance.

The spot was designed to get people talking, and it has certainly accomplished that. WWE Radio shared its call of the moment afterward, with NXT play-by-play announcer Vic Joseph providing perhaps the most appropriate analysis possible.

“Oh s***.”

WWE Fans Praise Vic Joseph After Je’Von Evans’ Ambulance Spot

Fans immediately praised Joseph’s reaction, with some calling for him to move to the main roster and others comparing him favorably to Joe Tessitore. Fans have even suggested Joseph could eventually slide into Michael Cole’s role.

As heard on WWE Radio:

I’m firmly in that camp.

Joseph is excellent alongside Booker T on NXT, but Booker isn’t the reason Joseph works. He can work with different color analysts, control the pace of a broadcast and make big moments feel important without sounding like he’s trying to manufacture excitement. WWE should seriously consider him Michael Cole’s heir apparent. Frankly, I think he could call SmackDown every week right now.

His reaction also worked because the ambulance spot itself didn’t completely land for me.

The visual of Evans going through the ambulance was cool, but everything leading to it felt a little too manufactured and choreographed. Evans driving an ambulance toward the ring didn’t feel believable in the way Steve Austin arriving in a beer truck, Kurt Angle bringing out a milk truck or Brock Lesnar driving a tractor somehow did.

Those moments fit those characters. Evans hasn’t been built for that kind of defiant action yet, and the live crowd reaction seemed flatter than WWE probably envisioned.

Still, WWE is getting something it wanted from the spot: circulation.

The clip is now built for social media, highlights and reaction posts like the one featuring Joseph’s call. That’s increasingly part of WWE’s presentation too. The reaction a moment generates online after the show can matter nearly as much as the reaction it gets inside the building.

If nothing else, WWE got a memorable visual out of Evans — and another reminder that Joseph deserves a bigger stage.
