Aikman re-married less than a decade later.
The Hall of Fame quarterback married in 2017. He married fashion executive Catherine “Capa” Moody. The couple first met in 2016 before marrying a year later.
Aikman and his second wife were married for several years, before going through a public divorce in 2023.
Aikman is currently going through a contract battle at ESPN, as he’s yet to have his extension finalized for 2027 and beyond.
“I thought something would be done prior to the start of this season,’ Aikman said on the “Sports Media with Richard Deitsch” podcast. “I’ve never gone into a last year of a contract ever since I signed with the Dallas Cowboys. So, I thought that it would be done. It’s not. When it might get done, if it gets done, is anybody’s guess, and it’s just not something that I’m really putting a lot of energy into.”
Aikman is hoping that things will work out at ESPN, but it’s possible that he’ll end up elsewhere.
