Alabama Fans Caught Throwing Objects At Georgia’s Players Saturday Night

Alabama fans didn’t handle Saturday night’s loss to Georgia well at all.

After the Bulldogs pulled off the 20-17 win on the road to stake their claim as the No. 1 team in the country, fans in Tuscaloosa appeared to rain down garbage on the UGA players and their staff as they headed for the tunnel.

Luckily, no one appeared to be hurt by the items. But it definitely wasn’t a good luck for the 5-1 Crimson Tide.

Alabama fans ripped for ‘classless’ behavior after Saturday’s Georgia loss

In a pair of clips shared by Alison Mastrangelo of WSBTV, Bulldogs staffers could be seen telling the school’s players to leave their helmets on while running off the field.

“Georgia players were being told by coaches to put their helmets on as they were leaving the field,” Mastrangelo shared. “Upset Alabama fans were throwing bottles and cans at the players and on the field.”

Fans around the country were rightly disgusted by the “disgraceful” conduct at Bryant-Denny.

“Imagine having all those Natty’s and this is the level of class your fans show?” a user asked.

“Wow perhaps a statement from @Greg_Byrne will smooth things over. Disgraceful behavior,” a fan said.

“Disgraceful conduct by Alabama fans. Anger management problems with the coach, players, and the crowd. The program is in disarray,” another replied.

“This can’t happen,” another person stated.

“Stay classy, Alabama…wouldn’t expect anything less from that fanbase,” another user commented.

“Such an embarrassment,” an UGA fan posted. “Sorest losers in college football.”

This is far from the first time Bama fans have come under fire for their postgame behavior, and at this rate, it probably won’t be the last.
