“Ryan’s got a head injury, and then (center Racin Delgatty) will be evaluated,” DeBoer said.
The play came with 10:53 remaining in the fourth quarter. Coleman-Williams went up for a pass from Keelon Russell, which Georgia defensive back Demello Jones broke up. After being tackled, Coleman-Williams appeared to hit his head on the ground.

Coleman-Williams was evaluated on the field before going back to the locker room. ESPN’s Laura Rutledge reported during the ABC broadcast that he wouldn’t return.
The injury came after Coleman-Williams had already left the field late in the first half following an awkward landing while trying to make a catch in the end zone. He was helped to the locker room at that point but returned for the second half before suffering the head injury.

Coleman-Williams finished the game with three catches for 39 yards and remained Alabama’s leading receiver despite leaving early.
The junior wideout entered Saturday with 20 receptions for 376 yards and four touchdowns through five games. He sits at 23 receptions for 415 yards and four scores after the loss to Georgia.
Coleman-Williams’ absence added another problem for Alabama in a game that slipped away in the second half. Georgia took a 17-14 lead with 10:38 left in the third quarter. Then a 20-17 lead on Peyton Woodring’s field goal with 5:19 remaining following an Alabama three-point drive, but the Crimson Tide failed to answer on their final possession.
Alabama fell to 5-1 with its first loss of the season. The Crimson Tide return to action in Week 7 with a road game against Tennessee in Knoxville on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
