I have one question as I look at the Air Jordan 4 “Flyknit” colorways like the “Total Orange.” Where are you going wearing these? Unless you’re being transported back to the early 2000s and you’re in a music video and the theme is to go overly monochromatic, I cannot imagine why anyone would want to completely commit to such a drastic color choice for footwear. Even though I’m being completely honest with my take here, I cannot deny the attention-grabbing qualities here. Let’s talk sneakers.

Where Can You Buy the Air Jordan 4 Flyknit “Total Orange”
Nothing is scheduled, so this is a resale hunt. StockX, GOAT, Flight Club and eBay carry pairs against the $220 retail from 2019. Supply is the real obstacle rather than price. This colorway was geographically restricted and never got a SNKRS release in the United States, so full size runs are inconsistent.
What Makes This Retro Stand Out
The knit rebuilds the shoe instead of decorating it. Alternating weave patterns recreate the mudguard and the midfoot netting, so the silhouette reads correctly from a distance and completely differently up close. Translucent plastic replaces the wings, tongue plate and heel counter, tinted to match rather than contrast. The Jumpman branding on the tongue, heel and outsole runs tonal, which leaves the black in the sole unit as the only interruption.
Why Does It Still Matter
This was one of four colorways in the only Flyknit run the Air Jordan 4 has ever received, built for the silhouette’s 30th anniversary. Jordan Brand had tested the program on the 1 and a heavily limited 3 before moving it here. Nothing since has attempted a fully knit Air Jordan 4, and the “Total Orange” is the most extreme version of the idea.
Should You Buy the Air Jordan 4 Flyknit “Total Orange” (2019)?
Even the name, “Total Orange,” is crazy. It’s hard for me to think of any article of clothing that you should wear if its color identity is Total Orange.

The counterargument is the price. Resale on this one has stayed under most Air Jordan 4 releases from the same year, which makes it cheap entry into a shoe almost nobody else owns.
