Week 6 of the 2026 college football regular season was an eventful one. Georgia took down Alabama, Oklahoma upset Texas, LSU fell to Kentucky, Indiana rallied from a second-half deficit against Nebraska and more.
The new AP Poll top 25 will come out on Sunday afternoon, shortly after 2 p.m. E.T. But one top college football writer has already shared his AP Poll ballot on Sunday morning, hours before the poll is set to be released.

College football writer Brett McMurphy has shared his ballot on Sunday morning.
McMurphy has Georgia at No. 1, replacing Texas.
“The Bulldogs outlasted Alabama 20-17, thanks to a controversial late non-pass interference call. Georgia QB Gunner Stockton threw for 249 and a TD, while Dwight Phillips had 120 yards rushing on 17 carries. The victory was only Kirby Smart’s third in 10 career games against Bama,” he shared.

The official new Top 25 polls from the Coaches’ Poll and the AP Poll will be out later on Sunday, with the Coaches’ Poll typically coming out around noon E.T. and the AP Poll typically coming out around 2 p.m. E.T.
