CHP issues Silver Alert for Roseville man last seen on foot in Placer County

The California Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert on Wednesday for a 69-year-old man who was last seen a week ago in Roseville.

Kolin Morlatt was last seen Aug. 25 near Industrial Avenue and Veterans Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol’s post on X. Authorities believe he may be traveling on foot.

Morlatt was described as 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and jeans.

The CHP asked the public to be on the lookout for Morlatt and to contact law enforcement with information that could help locate him.

A Silver Alert is issued when a person age 65 or older, or someone who is developmentally or cognitively impaired, goes missing and is considered at risk. The CHP activates the alert after a local law enforcement agency determines the individual meets the criteria and it has exhausted all available resources.
