Is Nick Saban getting sick of Pat McAfee?
It was the Pat McAfee show once again in Austin, Texas on Saturday. The former NFL punter turned sports media personality did everything he could to rile up the “College GameDay” crowd. McAfee did the “O-H-I-O” and the “Horns Up” and the “Horns Down” all in the span of a couple of seconds.

Why did he do this?
We’re not really sure, other than McAfee clearly loving attention and attempting to rile up the crowd.
Who is this for, though? College football fans don’t seem to enjoy it. Nick Saban doesn’t seem to like it, either.
“You can tell Nick Saban is beyond sick of him,” one fan wrote.
“He’s ruining the show,” one fan added.
“Between Ted Cruz and this slop from Pat McAfee, College Gamedays decline is in full swing,” one fan added.
College football fans seem to agree with Saban
“Belly laughed at this one. had to wake up my pregnant wife to show her. awesome,” one fan said sarcastically.

“Oh my gosh that’s crazy! Gameday is so silly!” another fan joked.
“Pat McAfee makes content for old people that complain about not being able to order a black coffee at coffee shops,” one fan added.
“Him being popular is such a poor reflection on this country,” one fan added.
Like him or not, though, it’s clear that ESPN is prioritizing him and letting him do whatever he wants, from trying to rile up Texas’ fan base to taunting opposing fan bases on the air.
It would be interesting, of course, if any of McAfee’s “College GameDay” colleagues disagreed with his behavior publicly, but it doesn’t seem like that is going to happen – at least not anytime soon.
