Trinity Rodman’s Soccer Career
Rodman was born on May 20, 2002, and entered the NWSL at just 18 years old after the Washington Spirit selected her with the second overall pick in the 2021 NWSL Draft.
She immediately showed her quality making an immediate impact in the league scoring six goals in her rookie season and winning the 2021 NWSL Rookie of the Year award.
In January 2026 the 24-year-old signed a new three-year contract with the Washington Spirit worth more than $2 million per year, including bonuses, and runs through the 2028 season. As per reports, this contract made Rodman the highest-paid player in NWSL history at the time.
Trinity Rodman’s Olympic Medal
Rodman also won an Olympic gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics and played a key role in the team’s run to the final where they defeated Brazil 1-0.
The gold medal was one of the biggest achievements of her young career and came just a few years after she began playing professional soccer.
Trinity Rodman’s USWNT Career Stats
The Washington Spirit star made her U.S. women’s national team debut in 2022 and scored her first international goal that year becoming a regular part of the team.
As of September 2026, Rodman has made 55 appearances and scored 13 goals for the United States. Her international record also includes performances at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Trinity Rodman’s 2026 NWSL Season
The 24-year-old forward has 10 goals and six assists in 23 NWSL appearances, according to ESPN and most recently helped the Spirit beat the Portland Thorns 2-1.
She has remained one of the main attacking players for the Spirit while helping the team compete near the top of the NWSL standings.
