The Seattle Storm are at home Thursday night as they host the Las Vegas Aces in their first game back following the WNBA’s break for the FIBA Women’s World Cup.

Seattle enters Thursday’s game with an 8-32 record after losing to the Los Angeles Sparks in its final game before the break on Aug. 30.
In their loss to the Sparks, Dominique Malonga led the way for the Storm as she recorded 17 points, 15 rebounds and three assists while Flau’jae Johnson added 19 points and three rebounds of her own.
The Storm will try to bounce back Thursday as they face off against the Aces in a tough home matchup.
Las Vegas enters Thursday’s contest with a 27-13 record after defeating the Toronto Tempo at home in its final game ahead of the break on Aug. 28.
A’ja Wilson led the way for the Aces in their victory over the Tempo as she ended the game with 27 points and eight rebounds while Jackie Young recorded 23 points, four rebounds and eight assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, one may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Aces Injury Report
The Aces have only as they have ruled out NaLyssa Smith.
Las Vegas has ruled out Smith as she will miss the remainder of the season while recovering from a non-contact left leg injury.
Storm Injury Report: Will Awa Fam, Natisha Hiedeman Play?
The Storm have , though Awa Fam and Natisha Hiedeman are not among them.
Of course, Fam missed Seattle’s final game before the break to join Spain ahead of the FIBA Women’s World Cup but she is off the injury report and will return Thursday.
Hiedeman is also off the injury report and will return against the Aces after missing the last four games with a shoulder injury.

Seattle has listed Jordan Horston as questionable due to a right shoulder injury and she is in danger of missing her first game since June 27 while Jade Melbourne is questionable with an illness.
The Storm have ruled out Ezi Magbegor and Katie Lou Samuelson as they will both miss the remainder of the season.
