Final Injury Report for Colts-Steelers: Will Rico Dowdle, Keenan Allen Play?

The Pittsburgh Steelers are at home Sunday afternoon as they host the Indianapolis Colts in a Week 5 AFC matchup.

Pittsburgh enters Sunday’s game with a 2-2 record after losing on the road to the Cleveland Browns in Week 4.

In their loss to the Browns, Aaron Rodgers led the way for the Steelers as he recorded 299 passing yards, three passing touchdowns and two interceptions while DK Metcalf added 115 receiving yards.

The Steelers will try to bounce back Sunday as they face off against the Colts in a tough home matchup.

Indianapolis enters Sunday’s contest with a 2-2 record after defeating the Washington Commanders in London in Week 4.

Jonathan Taylor led the way for the Colts in their victory over the Commanders as he ended the game with 95 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns while Daniel Jones recorded 143 passing yards and an interception.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday afternoon’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Colts Injury Report: Will Keenan Allen Play?

The Colts have seven players listed on their injury report, including wide receiver Keenan Allen.

Indianapolis has listed Allen as questionable due to a groin injury and he is in danger of missing his second straight game.

If Allen is sidelined once again, Josh Downs and Laquon Treadwell could both continue to have increased roles, especially with Ashton Dulin being ruled out with a hamstring injury.

The Colts have also listed wide receiver Darius Slayton as questionable due to a knee injury while cornerback Charvarius Ward Sr. is questionable with a groin injury.

Linebacker Jaylon Carlies (ribs), tight end Will Mallory (thumb) and defensive end Arden Key (hamstring) have all been ruled out.

The Steelers have five players listed on their injury report, including running back Rico Dowdle and wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr.

Pittsburgh has listed Dowdle as questionable due to a toe injury and he is in danger of missing his third consecutive contest.

If Dowdle is sidelined once again, Jaylen Warren could continue to have an increased role.

The Steelers have also listed cornerback Jalen Ramsey as questionable due to a wrist injury while safety DeShon Elliott (knee) and cornerback Jamel Dean (ankle) have been ruled out.

Pittman Jr. has been ruled out due to a foot injury that he aggravated in practice earlier in the week and he is expected to miss multiple games with the injury.
