Final Injury Report for Sparks-Sun: Will Cameron Brink, Brittney Griner Play?

The Los Angeles Sparks are on the road Tuesday night as they travel to take on the Connecticut Sun in an interconference matchup.

Los Angeles enters Tuesday’s game with a 12-22 record after losing on the road to the Washington Mystics Saturday night.

In Saturday’s loss to the Mystics, Rae Burrell led the way for the Sparks as she recorded 20 points, three rebounds and three assists while Nneka Ogwumike added 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists and four steals of her own.

The Sparks will try to bounce back and snap their four-game losing streak Tuesday as they face off against a struggling Sun team on the road.

Connecticut enters Tuesday’s contest with an 8-25 record after losing at home to the New York Liberty Saturday afternoon.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa led the way for the Sun in Saturday’s loss as she ended the game with 21 points and 10 rebounds while Charlisse Leger-Walker recorded 14 points, five rebounds and four assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Tuesday night’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Sparks Injury Report: Will Cameron Brink, Monique Akoa Makani Play?

The Sparks have three players listed on their injury report, including Cameron Brink and Monique Akoa Makani.

Los Angeles has listed Brink as questionable due to a rib injury and she is in danger of missing her second consecutive contest.

Cameron Brink (ribs), Monique Akoa Makani (right ankle), and Erica Wheeler (right ankle) are all QUESTIONABLE tomorrow for the Sparks. Brink missed Saturday’s game, Akoa Makani has missed the last four, and Wheeler suffered the injury late in Saturday’s game.

The Sparks have also listed Akoa Makani as questionable and she is in danger of missing her fifth straight game with a right ankle injury.

Erica Wheeler has also been listed as questionable due to a right ankle injury and she is in danger of missing her first game of the season.

Sun Injury Report: Will Brittney Griner, Aaliyah Edwards Play?

The Sun have two players listed on their injury report as they have listed Brittney Griner and Aaliyah Edwards as questionable.

Connecticut has listed Griner as questionable due to a left knee injury and she is in danger of missing her second straight game.

The Sun have also listed Edwards as questionable with a left ankle injury and she is in danger of missing her second consecutive contest as well.
