A national dessert chain, known for its gourmet cookies, has closed one of its stores at a prominent Sacramento retail center in south Sacramento.

Crumbl Cookie at Delta Shores has ceased operations, according to its Yelp page.
Crumbl Cookie did not respond to an inquiry from The Sacramento Bee about its closure. The location at 8240 Delta Shores Circle opened in 2021 with See’s Candies and T-Mobile as its neighbors, according to Delta Shores’ website. Crumbl has also been removed from Delta Shores’ store directory.
Famous for its elaborate and experimental cookie flavors, Crumbl Cookie was founded in 2017 in Logan, Utah. The cookie franchise features weekly specialty dessert flavors, pink sugar cookie cakes, Dubai-style chocolate cookie brownies, strawberry Biscoff cookies, and Oreo birthday cake cookies, according to its webpage.
