The Huskers led for most of the game, before the Hoosiers came from behind in the fourth quarter to steal the win. Nebraska led by 11 points at one point in the fourth quarter, only to see Indiana rally back and get the victory in fairly stunning fashion.
Next week, FOX will have another major Big Ten showdown in the 12 p.m. E.T. timeslot. Indiana will be hosting Ohio State, in a rematch of last year’s Big Ten Championship Game. FOX’s announcer, Gus Johnson, referred to it as the game of the year in college football in his preview for next week’s show.
College football fans felt “insulted” by that, though.

College football fans defend Gus Johnson, though
Some college football fans are defending Gus Johnson, though, saying that he’s right.
“How do you figure? Both have won national championships in the past three years and they are the clear two best teams in the Big Ten this year. I’m very excited for it,” one fan wrote on X.
“Dude, it’s the last two national champions who have split their last two meetings and two of the biggest coaches in the country that would run the score up on each other. I’M IN!” one fan added.
“Two of the last three national champs, both in the Top 10, both unbeaten in the Big Ten, one loss between them. Some people have to realize college football isn’t just played in the SEC,” one fan added.
