Free, family-friendly movie night in South Natomas in June and July. What to know

Mark your calendars because South Natomas will host two free movie nights over the next two months. So get your lawn chairs and blankets for a night under the stars.

Here’s what to know:

When are the summer events taking place?

The first Summer Movie Night will take place Friday, June 26 beginning at 7 p.m.

The movie will begin at sundown and activities will take place prior to a showing of “Zootopia 2”.

The second movie night will happen Friday, July 24 at 7 p.m. The evening will feature family-friendly activities, free popcorn and a showing of “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants”.

Where will the event take place?

Both showings will take place at the South Natomas Community Center, 2921 Truxel Road in Sacramento.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of parking near the South Natomas Community Center including at the center and off-street parking. The 25-acre park includes amenities such as a Rose Garden Adventure Play Area, group picnic area and life trail stations.
