A motorcyclist in his 30s died Wednesday night after a hit-and-run crash involving a vehicle near Watt Avenue and Arden Way in Arden Arcade, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported about 7:45 p.m. just north of Arden Way. The motorcyclist was taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office was expected to identify the motorcyclist once relatives are notified of the death.
