Bryan De La Cruz and Bryce Harper homered and three Philadelphia pitchers combined on another shutout as the visiting Phillies beat the Baltimore Orioles 8-0 in 5 1/2 innings in a rain-shortened game Sunday afternoon.

De La Cruz drove in three runs for the Phillies, who won for the second day in a row after falling in the series opener. Justin Crawford had two hits, two RBIs and two runs while Alec Bohm added a pair of hits.
Philadelphia’s pitching plans were disrupted by a lengthy in-game rain delay. Kyle Backhus pitched one inning and Tim Mayza (3-3) worked two innings in relief of starter Zack Wheeler.
The game was called off after a second rain delay. The Phillies have won just three of their last 11 games.
The Orioles were shutout victims for the second day in a row. In both games, they were without an extra-base hit.
Wheeler was limited to two shutout innings because he didn’t return after the first rain delay. He gave up one single and struck out three batters in his abbreviated outing.

Baltimore starter Kyle Bradish (7-10), who also didn’t return following the delay, took the loss. He was charged with two runs in three innings.
De La Cruz’s two-run home run in the third inning opened the scoring prior to the rain delay, which began before the bottom of the third.
The Phillies tacked on two more runs in the fourth on Bryson Stott’s bases-loaded walk and Crawford’s groundout.
Harper’s 23rd home run of the season came in the fifth to make it 5-0.
Crawford singled in a run in the sixth and De La Cruz and Kyle Schwarber tacked on RBI sacrifice flies.
The second rain delay came before the Orioles batted in the sixth.
