Which bakery item has returned to Costco?
Costco has brought back its s’mores cookies to stores, several years after the sweet treat first appeared in its bakery lineup.
The company announced the comeback in an Instagram post Tuesday, Sept. 15.
“So good, you’ll be wanting s’more!” the company wrote on Instagram.

The cookies first debuted in Costco’s bakery in 2023 and have returned to stores just in time for the autumn season, according to Southern Living.
The cookies combine chocolate, marshmallow and pieces of graham cracker, giving the classic campfire dessert a bakery-style makeover.

Costco fans react to return of s’mores cookies
Costco fans on Reddit were especially excited about the return of the sweet treats.
“I honestly don’t care for a lot of the Costco cookies as they are soft and I prefer chewy/crispy,” Reddit user Grouchy-Research1310 wrote in a Costco Reddit thread. “These were a bit chewy, pieces of graham cracker with the chocolate and marshmallow.”

“I made the mistake of purchasing these for a family party the other day,” another user said. “I probably ate about 5 cookies over the course of the party. It was bad, just horrible. The worst part was there wasn’t any more to take home by the end of it.”
“Literally crack cocaine,” Reddit user zeezee2k wrote.
How much do popular cookies cost at Costco?
The s’mores cookies come in a 24-count box for $10.99, according to Costco’s website.
That comes out to about 46 cents per cookie.
