About 3,000 people are participating Sunday morning in the annual Urban Cow Half Marathon morning in Sacramento, in Land Park.

Roadways will be affected between about 7:20 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. with the times changing based on the street.
Riverside Boulevard from the Westin Hotel to 11th Avenue will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Residents can exit the neighborhood using South Land Park Drive.
Those who live near 14th Avenue and Bartley Drive will have a detour between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Signs will direct traffic to Bartley and 15th Avenue then to Land Park Drive and Sutterville Road.
Residents north of 12th Avenue, east of Riverside Boulevard, south of Broadway and west of Land Park Drive are asked to avoid driving between 7:40 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. If one must drive, they’re asked to park on Riverside Boulevard north of Vallejo Way and exit north.

Those west of Riverside Boulevard and south of Broadway should avoid driving from 7:40 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. For those who must drive, there will be detour signs directing you to Land Park Drive.
Those near Sherburn Avenue and Riverside Boulevard are asked to refrain from driving between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Residents who must drive will be directed by the Sacramento Police Department to exit to Riverside Boulevard from Sherburn Avenue.
