The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified a 32-year-old man who died this week in a hit-and-run traffic incident.

Michael Roa-Syrock Jr., of Roseville, was identified as the man who died after an alleged hit-and-run collision around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday on Watt Avenue north of Arden Way in Arden Arcade. He was reportedly riding a motorcycle at the time of the incident.
Roa-Syrock was taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center, according to previous Sacramento Bee reporting, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately respond to The Bee’s inquiry for an update on the investigation.
