The Tennessee Titans have been on a mission recently, as they look to progress as much as they possibly can before they compete in their first preseason contest, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday against the San Francisco 49ers.

They looked to prove their worth in a recent joint practice between the Titans and the 49ers. This took place on Tuesday, and there were many key takeaways following the conclusion of the event, although arguably the biggest takeaway isn’t the exact headline the Titans would have wanted to make.
Two Tennessee Titans Were Ejected During the Event
Unfortunately for the Titans, two of their players were ejected after an altercation resulted in them throwing punches. The two players who were forced to leave the joint practice were starting left tackle Dan Moore Jr. and backup left tackle Austin Deculus. This isn’t the sign that many would want, although this is something that could be viewed as a positive.
This Wasn’t the First Time Something Like This Has Happened
There was a similar situation with Jeffery Simmons and JC Latham, which started on the second day of training camp. Following their first altercation, Saleh was quick to shove it off.

“It’s the second day of pads, it’s hot, it’s muggy. You’re expecting it. Especially with the way that the offensive line and defensive line gets after it, so it’s just a reminder that we got work to do. It’s okay. I got brothers, and we fight all the time, but at the end of the day we will still take care of one another and make sure we’re good getting the work done that we need to get,”
He would later be left with no choice but to act, as this would later lead to punches.
“Our policy is that if you throw a punch you’re ejected from the game. Same thing with practice. If you throw a punch, you’re out of practice. Rather than going to the locker room, he still went to the other field and got his work in, so that the projected reps and the work that he would’ve got in, he got in off to the side,” Saleh said.

Unfortunately, it seems that this is an ongoing issue within the Titans program.
