“6’4″ isn’t that tall” – Sophie Cunningham on how tall her boyfriend needs to be

Sophie Cunningham‘s dating life has been getting plenty of attention lately, after photos of her with Frank Adams sparked speculation about a possible relationship. Neither Cunningham nor Adams has publicly confirmed they’re dating, but the renewed interest has naturally led fans to wonder what she actually looks for in a man.

Fortunately, Cunningham has been pretty open about her preferences. During an October 2025 episode of the ”

What Cunningham wants in a man

“Show Me Something” has always been about giving fans a chance to speak up, and this episode followed the same formula.

Cunningham and her co-host, Drew Hanlen, were asked what they look for in a significant other. Noah, who sent in the question, quickly clarified what he meant by “besides looks.” He was asking about “attributes.”

Cunningham’s list of attributes? Someone fun, kind, loyal and faithful. He should also be “hot and tall,” the WNBA star added. Technically, those are attributes too. They just lean a lot closer to looks, so that wasn’t really what Noah was asking for.

Not that it mattered, though. After all, it was that second point, height, that she and Hanlen ended up having an interesting back-and-forth about.

“6’4″ isn’t actually that tall”

Hanlen started things off by asking his co-host what, in her honest opinion, would qualify as tall.

“I think minimum 6’4,” answered Cunningham.

Hanlen was baffled by that. The Fever player picked up on his reaction right away. It prompted her to waste no time explaining her stance.

“Dude, I’m 6’1,” she replied, “and I like to wear heels.”

Cunningham briefly wondered out loud whether her knees, following her recent surgery, would even let her wear those shoes anymore. Then she explained that, if you really think about it, “6’4″ isn’t actually that tall.”

Still, that wasn’t enough for Hanlen.

“Give me a break,” he blurted out.

When it comes to not agreeing with Cunningham on whether 6’4″ is tall, her co-host actually has science on his side. The average adult man in the United States is 5’9″. So anything above that can be considered tall.

Evidently, the two didn’t agree there. They did find common ground later, though. Hanlen said the only way they’d ever be on the same eye level was if he wore Timberlands and she wore flats. Cunningham was all in on the idea.

“We need to make that s-t happen. Oh my god, that’d be so funny,” she said.

As for her dream guy, turns out there’s more out there on that oh-so-burning subject.

Cunningham has revealed that she really fancies 67-year-old country music legend, Alan Jackson. She’s also said in the past that she likes to go for more of a manly man. Disqualified, the Missouri native emphasized, is anyone who’s had plastic surgery – on the face or anywhere else.
