Lane Kiffin’s daughter, Landry, is speaking out about the “inappropriate” banners swirling around campus ahead of Saturday night’s Ole Miss vs. LSU game.

Banners have been put up on some of Ole Miss’ off-campus houses, suggesting that the daughter of the LSU Tigers head coach is in a relationship with one of the players on the Rebels’ team.
“I think that turning a girl into the punchline of a sexual joke because you’re upset at somebody she’s related to shouldn’t be okay,” Kiffin said in a post on social media.
Kiffin added that she’s genuinely never even met former Ole Miss running back Ulysses Bentley IV. She is in a relationship with LSU Tigers lineback Whit Weeks.
Landry Kiffin strongly denied all the rumors about her heading into kickoff on Saturday night.

Ole Miss fans have gone too far with this one
It’s understandable that tensions would be high for Ole Miss fans heading into a revenge game against their former head coach, Lane Kiffin.
But dragging his family into it, especially regarding a false rumor, is a step too far. Landry Kiffin is still a college student. She didn’t ask for her dad to become a controversial college football head coach. She had nothing to do with him bailing on Ole Miss for LSU.
If you want to taunt Lane Kiffin heading into Saturday night’s matchup, that’s fine. But don’t bring his family into it. That’s a step too far and a clear line that has been crossed by the Ole Miss fan base.
Hopefully, all of the Landry Kiffin banners will get taken down immediately, and better decisions will be made by Ole Miss’s fans heading into kickoff in Oxford on Saturday evening.
The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. E.T.
