The town will host “Loomis Lunch & Listen” from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 28 at the historic Loomis Train Depot located at 5775 Horseshoe Bar Road.

Officials said the event is designed as an open conversation where residents can ask questions about town projects, share ideas and learn more about what is happening in Loomis.

Unlike a traditional town meeting, the gathering will feature no presentations, speeches or formal agenda. Instead, residents are invited to bring their lunch, grab a seat and participate in a relaxed community discussion with Simpson.
