The MLB The Show 26 developers are back with another round of fixes, and this time much of the attention is on improving the overall experience in Diamond Dynasty. Game Update 15 is scheduled to roll out on Aug. 3 at 4 a.m. PT across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, bringing fixes to gameplay, menus, uniforms and several long-standing issues players have reported over the past few weeks.

While there aren’t any new gameplay features included in the patch, the latest update focuses on polishing the experience across multiple modes. Diamond Dynasty players, in particular, will benefit from several quality-of-life improvements, while visual bugs, menu glitches and player likeness updates round out another solid post-launch patch.

Game Update 15 is scheduled to deploy on:
- Date: Monday, Aug. 3
- Time: 4 a.m. PT

Diamond Dynasty Headlines the Latest Patch
Diamond Dynasty receives the biggest collection of fixes in Game Update 15, addressing several issues that have impacted progression and gameplay.
Diamond Dynasty fixes
- Fixed a bug where all Silver rewards could appear during an XP Wheel Spin.
- Fixed a bug preventing users from assigning Captains within Diamond Quest.
- Fixed a bug where previous post-game summaries could repeatedly appear after completing different Moments.
- Fixed incorrect batting average and home run values in Mini Seasons.
- Fixed a bug where a blank reward could appear at the beginning of a Showdown.
MLB The Show 26 Game Update 15 and server update are set to deploy at 4 AM PT on 8/3/2026 on all platforms.

Gameplay, Visual and Menu Improvements
Outside of Diamond Dynasty, San Diego Studio also addressed several gameplay and presentation issues.
General fixes
- Fixed incorrect team decals and logos appearing on sleeves and helmets.
- Fixed a bug causing bullpen players on the All-Star roster to wear the wrong uniforms.
- Fixed an issue where the incorrect pitcher could receive the loss in extra-inning games.
- Updated Adrian Houser’s pitching animation release point.
Nintendo Switch
- Fixed incorrect All-Star uniforms appearing when selected.
Miscellaneous fixes
- Various menu improvements.
- Fixed multiple “View Program” buttons appearing when viewing cards through Collections.
- Fixed a bug that could break menu elements after backing out of a Co-Op game.

San Diego Studio also confirmed another batch of player likeness updates. The studio noted that some of these changes will become available after the roster update scheduled for the afternoon of Aug. 4.

Although Game Update 15 doesn’t introduce any headline-grabbing new content, it delivers several fixes that should improve the day-to-day experience across MLB The Show 26. With Diamond Dynasty receiving the bulk of the attention alongside gameplay, menu and visual improvements, this patch continues San Diego Studio’s effort to clean up lingering issues as the season progresses. Players can download the update beginning Aug. 3 before the latest roster update and additional likeness changes arrive on Aug. 4.
