Costco food court menu changes tend to get a lot of attention, especially when the wholesale retailer removes an item that people love or releases a variation on an old favorite.
Naturally, when Costco began a limited roll-out of chicken strips, people were interested. As of this month, the chicken strips are available at Costco stores nationwide.
What comes with the Costco chicken strips?
An order of chicken breast strips costs $6.99, and comes with five large chicken breast strips, along with a container of dipping sauce. The dipping sauce has been described by customers as a smoky honey mustard mixture.
According to the nutritional information provided by Costco, the strips are 1,130 calories on their own, and 1,640 calories with the sauce.
The Costco chicken strips are baked, not fried, and they do not come with French fries.

Do all Costco food courts sell chicken strips?
Although chicken strips have only recently been rolled out to Costco food courts in the United States, they have been available in other countries for a while.
In both Australia and Canada, Costco’s food court chicken strips come with french fries.
Costco food courts in other countries often offer unique items not available in the United States. In the United Kingdom, for example, they offer “jacket,” or baked potatoes, with toppings. In South Korea, the Costco food courts offer a beef bulgogi-topped combo pizza.
Are there other new foods at the Costco food court?
Costco has kept their hot dog and drink combo on the menu at an inflation-defying $1.50 for decades. Changing that would undoubtedly ruffle some feathers, but some offerings at the food court do come and go.
For example, around 2020, Costco discontinued the combination pizza. More recently, they’ve begun offering a rotating series of sundaes, with special flavors available every few months. Most recently, they released a Vanilla Cookie Crunch sundae for $2.99.
