In 2019, Jamba Juice got a lot of coverage for shortening their name to simply “Jamba.” At the time, the company explained that this was due to the fact that they had much more than juice and smoothies on their menu.

Over the years, Jamba has sold smoothie bowls, oatmeal, and snacks such as pretzels and waffles. Now, they’re venturing into lunch food territory, testing out sandwiches at a limited number of locations across the country. More than two dozen Sacramento-area Jamba locations are among the 95 test markets rolling the sandwiches out to customers.
In a news release, Kate Morgan, Vice President of Marketing at Jamba, said that the launch “marks an important step in Jamba’s ongoing evolution, broadening our menu to better serve guests throughout their day while staying true to the signature Jamba experience.”
What sandwiches does Jamba offer?
Jamba is currently offering seven new sandwiches.
They are:
Rotisserie Chicken Avo Ranch
A chicken-avocado sandwich with ranch, served on ciabatta
Rotisserie Chicken Pesto
A chicken-and-cheese sandwich with pesto mayo, served on ciabatta
J.B.S.T.
A BLT (bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich) with spinach, served on sourdough
Market Pesto
A tomato-cheese sandwich with spinach, served on ciabatta
Cheese Melt
A cheddar and provolone grilled cheese, served on sourdough
Blueberry Dipper Cheese Melt
A cheddar and provolone grilled cheese, served on sourdough and served with a blueberry mango dipping sauce

PB Nutella® Crunch
A peanut butter, Nutella, banana, and granola sandwich, served on sourdough
On the Jamba website, sandwiches range from $6.49 to $8.49, and are available to order under the “melts” category.
The sandwiches are being offered throughout the Sacramento region for a limited time. According to their press release, the test will end on October 14.
