Controversial “looksmaxxer” Clavicular is in legal trouble again.
The South Florida influencer, real name Braden Peters, is facing multiple charges, including rape, in Massachusetts, independent news outlet The Bulwark first reported.

According to the Orleans District Court docket, charges were filed Sept. 8 against the Fort Lauderdale resident over an alleged incident that occurred May 23, 2025, in Chatham. Peters’ parents have a home in the town, on the southeastern tip of Cape Cod.
The Internet personality, part of the subculture of young men who go to extremes to appear attractive, is accused of one count of rape, one count of drugging someone for sexual intercourse and another for procuring liquor while under 21.
Court records do not name a victim, as per Massachusetts law, but lists her as 17 years old at the time. She reported the alleged assault to Chatham Police Department over a year later, on June 4, 2026.
According to the complaint, the victim told police that she and Peters met on Instagram and their relationship “evolved” into her being paid to do content creation and become a female looksmaxxer.
About a week after communicating digitally, she said Peters sent her an Uber to his family residence, where she greeted his mother and grandmother, then proceeded to do a livestream with him in his bedroom.
After Peters “peer pressured” her into consuming “cups” of vodka, she became “really drunk,” and they began to “make out,” says the report. The teenager recounted that she eventually fell asleep, only to wake up with Peters having sex with her “without her consent.”
“I was like in shock,” the girl told police, adding she did not get a sexual assault forensic exam after Peters sent her an Uber home.
The complaint was issued by summons rather than an arrest warrant. Peters’ arraignment has been scheduled for the morning of Oct. 14.

After The Bulwark story broke, a representative for Peters told People magazine that his client denies all claims and the article was “exaggerating for traffic.”
The Bulwark responded, telling the celebrity outlet: “In terms of Clavicular’s spokesman, he has not notified of us of any factual errors in the story. Anyone can look up these court documents and see for themselves.”

The victim’s lawyer also filed a separate civil lawsuit against Peters in Miami-Dade County in April. The Miami Herald is not naming the woman.
The now 18-year-old aspiring influencer is suing for physical, emotional and psychological damages. The civil suit, seeking more than $50,000, also accuses the streamer of injecting her with an “unapproved drug” intended to melt cheek fat.
Aside from his rep, what does Clavicular have to say?
On Instagram Tuesday, the day after The Bulkwark bombshell, he responded to the allegations with an Instagram video featuring screenshots of the victim’s personal notes to him, some of them affectionate.
“There’s better ways to make money than suing someone who doesn’t want you,” said his text over screen.
Peters, who was hospitalized in April for a suspected overdose at Mary Brickell Village in Miami, is no stranger to troubling headlines.
A month before the hospitalization, the New Jersey native was arrested on misdemeanor assault charges, stemming from a Feb. 2 fight between his girlfriend and another streamer at his Kissimmee Airbnb. Police say he instigated the altercation to gain followers.
That same month, the content creator was investigated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission after he and his friends fired multiple rounds into an alligator in the Everglades a month before. The reptile was later determined to be deceased when shot.
Peters, who was charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm in public, eventually pleaded no contest and agreed to six months probation and 20 hours of community service as part of a plea deal.
