A national retailer selling scrubs, lab coats and other professional medical clothing is shuttering its Citrus Heights store as part of a nationwide store closure.

Scrubs & Beyond says on its website that it is closing all of its retail stores and offering shutdown sale discounts of 20% to 40%.
The company, which has a store at 7877 Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights, did not offer an explanation for the closures.

Scrubs & Beyond has more than 100 physical locations in 30 states, Fast Company reported. Its customer service line was disconnected as of Wednesday.
Stores in Fresno and Modesto also are slated to close.
The company has been in business for more than 20 years, according to its site. It is the largest retailer of healthcare apparel and accessories in the country.
